Thinking of getting a portrait drawn but not sure where to start?
We have complied a list of frequently asked questions with detailed answers. If you've been thinking of getting a custom portrait illustration done for a while but not sure how it works, here it is!

How does it work?
We provide portrait drawing services and have a range of portrait styles and gifts available. Each piece is made to order from Singapore.
Do take your time to browse through our collections to find the right gift. You can browse by recipient or by occasion. Check out our blog to get some inspiration too!
Once you have decided, simply upload your photos and place your order! Each order is made to order so please do note of the lead time!
How will you create the portrait illustrations?
Watercolor illustrations
I sketch and paint with Winsor & Newton paints on 300gsm paper. Final artwork is coated with a layer of varnish for extra protection.
Digital illustrations
I paint digitally using an Apple iPad Pro and pen. Prints are printed on high-quality Canon photo paper that are made to last.
What photos should I upload?
Our portrait illustrations are drawn with reference to the photo(s) provided.
Please choose a photo that clearly shows the facial features of the individual. High-res photos are recommended but mobile photos are fine as well. Please do not send selfies, photos with filter etc.

I would love to order a family portrait but I don't have a photo of all of us together. Can I still order?
Yes, of course! We love to create family portrait illustration as it is an alternative to family photographs. Check out our blog content to get some inspiration!
For larger groups, we can take multiple photo references.

I want to gift a portrait to my friend. It's a surprise, can you draw them for me?
Of course! This will be a great personalised gift to celebrate your friendship. Here's why you should consider getting a portrait, read more here.
We provide complimentary gift wrapping service and we'll deliver the gift to your friend's address directly!
Tip: Stalk their Instagram or Facebook to find flattering photos.
How long will a portrait take?
We take about 7 - 10 days to complete the drawing depending on the gift item you have ordered.
Each drawing is hand drawn upon order confirmation.
Once your portrait is done, you will also receive an email confirmation.
Do you provide printing and framing services?
Yes i do! For digital portrait illustrations, we do offer prints and framing services. Prints are printed on high-quality Canon photo paper that are made to last. We will also try our best to ensure frames are of the best quality.
Is it possible to see the progress of the illustration or have it corrected?
No. Each custom order is drawn from sketching to coloring at once. We do not provide any updates on progress or revisions to the drawing.
Rest assured that we do our best to ensure you are satisfied with the work. You will be able to see the actual beauty of color and texture of the artwork when it is delivered to you.
Can i return or refund my order?
Refunds and returns are generally not available as this is a drawing service.
Each order takes equal amount of time, effort and attention. We hope you understand that our products are handmade and we are providing a portrait service.
